Denis Fernandez

Partner - Infrastructure & Planning

Planning and infrastructure advisor with over 20 years’ experience delivering complex land use, approvals, and development projects across government and private sectors. He formerly led the Metropolitan Development Program at the NSW Department of Planning, overseeing infrastructure coordination and land supply across Sydney’s growth areas. Denis has managed strategic planning, rezoning, and stakeholder engagement for major residential, aged care, and mixed-use developments.


A former Willoughby City Councillor, he brings deep insight into local and state planning frameworks. Denis is currently a senior executive at Aerometrex (ASX: AMX), a leading provider of geospatial data and aerial imagery, supporting infrastructure and planning decision-making across sectors. He is also National President of the Australia Timor-Leste Business Council, advancing cross-border infrastructure and investment collaboration.
