Infrastructure and strategy advisor with over 25 years' experience leading major investment, risk and transformation initiatives across transport, energy, telecommunications and precinct development. Kym has worked at the most senior levels of government and large, globally operating organisations, where he has directed enterprise-wide change programs and high-value infrastructure portfolios across Asia, Europe and Australia.
He has overseen national infrastructure programs - including airport systems upgrades for global carriers, fast ferry network launches, and the delivery of intelligent transport and safety systems. His government advisory roles include contributing to the establishment of Australia's first national infrastructure priority list with Infrastructure Australia, and working with NICTA on the development of life-safety protocols for intelligent transport systems.
Kym is a registered Gateway Reviewer across Australia and New Zealand and has led complex, cross jurisdictional projects involving infrastructure procurement, metropolitan strategy, and regulatory design. With a foundation in actuarial science and systems thinking, he brings a multidiciplinary approach to aligning commercial, policy and operational outcomes. He is also the author of several published papers on rail networks, transport policy, and infrastructure planning.
